WPS Developer at Ginebra (On site) for an International client
Job role: WPS Developer.
Languages: English (C1) MANDATORY.
Location: Ginebra (On site).
Rate: 240-260€/day.
DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
-
Act as SME and primary technical contact for the WPS-based customer matching application.

Provide BAU support to ensure application stability and availability.
-
Perform monthly production runs (approx. 10-day execution window per month).
-
Consolidate, transform, and process large datasets using WPS.
-
Execute and monitor batch jobs and data pipelines.
-
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data, performance, and technical issues.
-
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout processing cycles.

Support operational processes and ensure successful end-to-end execution of monthly runs.
Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of World Programming System (WPS)

Solid understanding of data processing, data consolidation, and batch workflows.

Experience working in production / BAU support environments.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and data-related issues independently.

Understanding of DevOps or operational support principles.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
High level of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.
Specific Expertise
-
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining WPS-based applications.

Expertise in combining and transforming data from multiple sources.
-
Experience supporting time-critical monthly or periodic production runs.
-
Ability to manage operational pressure during fixed delivery windows.
-
Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert for a business-critical application.

Familiarity with customer data matching or similar data-driven systems.
