Your role

• As part of the R&D department, you will be focusing on developing next-generation solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
• Your main focus will be the user experience of our web-based cloud platform I-see.
• Our software products are built in-house by our teams in Belgium, Spain, and Poland.
• Together with our product owner, you analyze market and user data and interview customers to identify and solve UX problems.
• By collaborating with the entire product team you will explore opportunities, define user flows, and aim for rapid prototyping.
• Collecting feedback and iterating on prototypes, we inch our way toward wireframes and high-fidelity mockups that align with our brand and identity. Ready to convert to product.
• As the design leader, you contribute to our product vision. Help maintain and evolve our design system and push for a consistent implementation.

Our perfect profile

• You are fluent in English communication
• You are passionate about providing design solutions to functional problems
• You are highly empathic and an excellent communicator
• You feel comfortable leading user research topics (e.g. usability testing)
• You have proven experience in problem-solving approaches (e.g. design thinking)
• You are proficient with Figma for prototyping and interface design
• You understand how to design high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software products
• You are familiar with frontend technologies (HTML pages, CSS, Javascript, etc.)
• You keep a strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design work
