Your tasks
- Development of the product data solutions (e.g. web-based applications, RESTful APIs, data-flow pipelines)using the micro-service and message-driven architecture approaches
- Establish data integration from on-prem to the cloud as well as from external sources to theMediaMarktSaturn systems landscape
- Implement end-to-end cloud native monitoring and alerting frameworks
- Make use of serverless and stateless computing solutions (e.g. Cloud Functions, Cloud Run in GCP)
- Assume end-to-end responsibility from requirements refinement with business stakeholders, creation of thetechnical concept to the implementation and continuous improvement of the solution
- Drive technology innovation in the product data area
Your profile
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, business information systems orsimilar qualification
- 5-8 years of experience using Java, Spring Boot in developing backend solutions
- Hands-on experience in software development
- Practical experience in building large-scale, distributed software applications using resilience patterns inmicroservice architectures and RESTful API design
- Knowledge of SQL- and NoSQL database as PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methods
- Expertise in building microservice solutions on cloud (preferable GCP) technology are a plus
- Experience in data management, especially product data management in the retail industry is a plus
