Job Description: Software Engineer – TypeScript/Python & Data Engineering
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Experience Level: Mid-Senior (4–5+ years of experience)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in TypeScript, Python, and Data Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and integrating with APIs. Additionally, experience with Azure services, including Teams Bots and Azure Functions, is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software solutions using TypeScript and Python following best practices in software engineering.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration workflows.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to provision and manage resources efficiently.
- Design and implement data engineering solutions, demonstrating advanced experience in the field.
- Integrate with external and internal APIs, ensuring secure and reliable communication between systems.
- Work with Azure services, including Teams Bots and Azure Functions, to support the development of cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4–5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python with proven development experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to showcase real-world applications.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Strong background in Data Engineering, with demonstrable experience in designing and implementing solutions.
- Proficiency in working with Azure services, including Azure Functions and Teams Bots.
- Experience in API integration, with the ability to demonstrate projects involving API communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices.
- Knowledge of additional Azure services and serverless architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
