We are hiring a Senior JavaScript Frontend Engineer to join our team!
Location: Anywhere in Spain! Enjoy the flexibility of remote work!
As a Senior JavaScript Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of applications and operating systems for Smart TV platforms.
Your key tasks will be:
- You will be part of our Agile TV team to bring recognized products and services to market, building the best TV experience (https://www.agile-tv.es/)
- Participate in the development of new products and evolvement of the existing ones while contributing to the architectural decisions (e.g.: New Generation TV Platform).
- Assist in delivering analysis and development for high performance, reliable, secure and scalable applications.
You must have:
- Web environment programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (OO, Closures, ES2015+)
- Demonstrable experience with one of the following frameworks: AngularJS, Vue, React, or similar
- Proven experience developing web applications with a high number of users, optimizing performance
- JavaScript build tools (node, npm, babel)
- Integration with REST interfaces
- Asynchronous JavaScript programming (Promises, async/await, etc.)
- Code versioning with Git
- Valuable experience with video players like Shaka-Player or dash-if
- Knowledge of debugging and optimization tools
- Valuable knowledge in SmartTV development (Tizen, Samsung)
- Valuable experience with video players like Shaka-Player or dash-if
- Knowledge in digital TV, IPTV, and DVB
- Agile methodologies
- Adaptive video streaming technologies like Smooth Streaming, DASH
- DRM technologies like Widevine
- WebGL
